February 12, 2024 - Much better on day 2 after being vacuvin’ed overnight. The combination of cab and Syrah has a rich nose with some pasture funk that actually reminds me of right bank Bordeaux. Plum and cassis flavors giving way to a distinct knot of tannin, suggesting this has plenty of room to run.

September 18, 2023 - This bottle was open about four hours before drinking. It was still a bit tight and acidic. It is well crafted but even at six years, I’ll give my other bottle another couple years to rest.

January 29, 2023 - Great after about 30 minutes open time. Showing ripe blue and red fruit, some pencil lead and mineral notes. Will improve with age.
