August 27, 2023 - Red, high intensity. Developed, medium intensity nose with dark warm fruit, black currant, neutral oak, powder.
On the palate dry, high acidity, high in tannins, coarse, full bodied. 14,5%. Concentrated flavours of warm blue fruit, black currant, oak, a stalky note. Medium length with a bit burning finish.
    No big difference day two.

Label information: From vines planted 1996 in Luján de Cuyo, grown in alluvial, stony, permeable soil at 1000 meter elevation. Maceration in 80 hl tanks for 21 days with manual piegeage. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels.

January 31, 2021 - Limited but ok. Understated blackcurrant fruit, savoury meat and a strong bell pepper note, a spicy finish, medium to strong but very drawn out tannins, and medium acidity, but it doesn't feel particularly energetic. It's over quite quickly and is pretty simple. Mild oak, but there's a lingering perfume that could be a mix of grape and oak as the long tannins outlasts it. Feels a little like black breakfast tea without milk a minute after a sip, those tannins do add up. Ok for price, does not delight.

January 29, 2021 - The Malbec is better. Bitter finish. Maybe needs more time to breathe.

January 24, 2021 - Pretty good. Classic bramble and cassis Cabernet. Big and a touch closed at present. Needs time.
