Community Tasting Notes 6

August 30, 2012 - Acidic, tannic and lacking any hint of fruit. Finish with a green soury rooty note. Had this a few years ago and remember it to be a similar profile. Hard to believe an 03 lacks fruit. Under ripe fruit it seems here. This is a real mess and no it's not flawed it's just bad. Drinkable yes but spend a little more in this appalation for the wine to deliver. Village level Vosne never a stunner in this camp. Stick to premier and grand cru.

March 27, 2011 - great nose; light on the palate - tannins still tight and may not improve; nice light bodied pinot

January 22, 2009 - Delicious, great wine with excellent balance and concentration, bright fruit and solid sense of terroir, a great expression of pinot.

November 9, 2008 - Great value for money. Perhaps a little thin, though. Good expression of this village for a song.

September 19, 2008 - Very tasty, and great value for money . Tasted more like a 1er cru. Tannins a little harsh, but not overly so. Ripe fruit, good acidity. Drinking well now.
