December 30, 2022 - Very well constructed. All the elegant aged notes you'd want from a first growth bdx with the accompanying length and intensity. Prime drinking. Scores perfectly on technical merits for the vintage but somehow just lacks the X factor you'd gush over.

December 26, 2022 - Great improvement from last bottle tried in jan 2021, also courtesy of MD. Everything is well placed and integrated. Enjoyed this a lot today. Probably my top Bordeaux bottle today

December 15, 2022 - End of the night wine at the Commanderie de Bordeaux HK. Spontaneous opening, P&P.
This was a pleasant surprise for me, as this bottle showed much better than my previous experience with Lafite '06. This was much more expressive with the classic, beautifully balanced Lafite nose coming through. Good structure and the tannins were there but not grippy or unpleasant, showing me that it had just turned a good corner.
Probably still has a little bit of upside, but will keep at this level for a while. Would revisit in 3+ years to see where it's at. -
