Community Tasting Notes 3

February 5, 2021 - nice expressive nose with tropical fruit, oil, honey. medium+ acid, quite dry. palate has minerals, grape and apples

  • Caruso Does not like this wine: 70 points

March 19, 2020 - Light straw. The problem with this is: Too much SO2. The smell of burned matches dominates nose and palate though the fruit shines through. It is not undrinkable, but not more than something to get drunk and not to enjoy.

September 13, 2019 - Académie des Cinquante Baden Visit; 9/11/2019-9/13/2019: Clean and dry style, no malo, chalky minerality, citrus, precise but also slightly austere, very different from the richer versions from the volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl.
