July 14, 2008 - A perfectly serviceable Rioja, quite soft with decent acidity, blood and wild strawberries. Good value.

November 4, 2007 - Lovely carmine red colour. Caramel, toast and a hint of wet stones on the nose. A soft and pretty wine, with tell-tale strawberry-like Rioja flavours but not very concentrated, complex or long. The oak needs a few more years to fade but will the fruit hold out? Excellent value when on special offer at Tesco, but not worth the full price of £9.99.
