Community Tasting Notes 1

  • dsamuel Likes this wine: 90 points

January 8, 2023 - Dark ruby/purple color with minimal rim clearing
Medium plus aromas of ripe red/ blue fruit and dark florals with distinct white pepper notes
Medium plus body with palate of sweet Maraschino cherries/ cough syrup/ kirsch and damp earth
Medium tannins/ medium acidity and medium plus alcohol
Nicely made but maybe a little too ripe and fruit forward for my taste
Seemed a little more complex on my tasting at the winery last year
Drink now - Im not seeing the structure to age after losing the fresh fruit character
