February 21, 2021 - Still showed very nicely. Definitely a young 2004. Drinkable now & over next few years. Moderate tannins. Loads of blackberry, cassis tar, semisweet chocolate & leather. Better on first night. Didn't hold up well for day two.

    February 14, 2021 - Wine decanted 1 hour.

Black fruit, jammy blue berries, herbal notes, black licorice, chocolate, finishes silky smooth. It’s outstanding and still showing strong. A

December 25, 2020 - Decanted for about an hour. Started out a bit harsh and then all of a sudden it mellowed and a significant spice element came to the forefront. Held up for several hours. Wish I had more.

December 11, 2020 - For a 16 year old CA cab it drank with good depth and smoothness. Lingering delicious after taste.

(Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-Oak & vanilla; nice black currant & cherry; underlying sandbox on the finish; TASTE-I'm impressed; vanilla & oak fruit bomb, but is contained by very impressive 2nd tier tannin structure; beautiful blackberry/currant jam on the mid-palate; followed by the Red Fruit River (Cranberries, Raspberries; Strawberries & Cherries); an Exceptional effort; will last for 10-15 years; RP-92/94; GV-93
