Community Tasting Notes 3

December 19, 2020 - I can practically taste the tartness just on the nose alone, with a prominent cranberry scent alongside rose petals and a touch of strawberry underneath. It's as crisp and dry as the nose promises, with a touch of grapefruit and a lot of intensity. This wine demands your attention!

November 7, 2020 - The wine looks amber colored and the legs are fast. It smells like green apple and light strawberry. It tastes like green apple and light dill. The body is light. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Nice light rose, has a nice round flavor. Don’t chill too cold. We enjoyed it.

June 3, 2020 - Bought online Nakes Wines UK, £14.99

    12.5% alc

    Well chilled, popped n poured.

Decent value-for-money Rose drinking very well at just 1 yr old - as is intended - with heaps of class and attractive flavours, and even some complexity. Ends near-dry. Will buy again. A modern new-wave Rose, million miles away from the old boring insipid Rose' from Provence. Superb example of a wine that's both a Foodie and a Quaffer.

    C....pale pink, looks light body

N....blanched peeled almonds, rose water, pink rose petals, though no real intensity

T..... bigger mouth-feel that it's appearence suggested, juicy exciting acidity, grapefruit pulp and grapefruit zest, good concentration, this is serious wine with plenty of personality: crisp red apples, touch of strawberry, tart pineapple, furry tannins, nice lilt at the end. Made in near-dry style.

VFMoney?.....feels worth £20, cost was £14.99. Good VFM, will buy their 2019 again, drink young and fresh.
