February 13, 2023 - A serviceable, fully mature Brunello. Some dried fig, sandalwood and forest floor on the nose leading to a muted, predominantly tertiary fruited palate. The acid and remaining tannins were a bit disjointed. This showed its best on day 3 when I finished off the remaining third of the bottle as the components seemed to have come more into balance. My score reflects the latter part of the drinking experience.

November 29, 2020 - Beautiful deep liver blood red with violet-garnet edges. Slightly muted nose of spiced mulberries with blueberry juice. Mediocre, flat body featuring an overaged mix of fruits across the red and blue spectrum.

August 21, 2020 - Double-decanted, Audozed, then served 2 hours later. Med+>Fully body, with plenty of fresh acidity, varietal character, and a good sense of place. More approachable, less complex than I was expecting. Improved somewhat on day 2. This should hold at this level for another 5-8 years no problem. recommended

January 12, 2020 - Decanted for a hour and a half...this bottle was even better than the last. A bit more livelier and flavorful. Better overall balance with more fruit than last bottle. Hopefully this wine will continue on the upswing with my last 2 bottles. Good with home made wood fired pizza.
