February 22, 2020 - Wine in the Sunshine State; 2/20/2020-2/23/2020 (Florida): Love to start the evening off with aged champagne and it ended up being a very good pairing with a number of the early courses including the oysters and lobster bisque.

April 9, 2017 - Seems quite young, considering it age. Really nice aromatics. Lots of citrus and a bit of brioche. Crisp on the palate. Not overly memorable, but still in excellent shape.

January 22, 2017 - Fogheads@HSA - Østerbro (Østerbro, Copenhagen): What a treat; very fresh, and we were guessing in the 90's. It is creamy and rich, notes of rye bread and old fashioned drug store, coffee galore; still living bubbles. Brought by Kannie. #Foghead#HSA

February 13, 2013 - What a wine. This was an original disgorgement bottling but it was in mint condition and had obviously been looked after well.. Golden in colour with a very gentle spritz. The seductive nose was full of toffee, brioche and white chocolate. To be honest there was probably even more going but I stopped there for some reason. The palate was even better, with notes of Chocolate, Seaweed, coffee and sea salt. It had this wonderful umami character that so many great champagnes have. I just kept coming back to it and finding something else. If this is the regular vintage, one can only imagine how good the Winston Churchill 1982 is at the moment. Buy it, drink it!

September 25, 2012 - Beautiful wined served immediately upon entering Brad and Diane's home. Deep yellow. Beautiful aromatics and complex palate with just enough acid. Drinking great! 94 pts
