May 1, 2007 - The nose is pure Loire cab franc-wet slate, pepper, coffee, a little chocolate, plum/cassis fruit. Very sleek in the mouth with a virtual cascade of flavors across the palate. This is an excellent terroir-based wine that drinks beautifully right now. Just about heaven with an herb and pepper roasted chicken. From the formidable portfolio of Robert Chadderdon. No idea whatsoever when I got this or what I paid.
