September 4, 2021 - This horse has left the barn. Fruit gone, unbalanced, hollow palate, too late to enjoy. Not surprised but thought I might get lucky....NOT.

June 25, 2020 - It’s still holding up well. Juicy blackberry and blueberry with telltale Bordeaux profile. Tannin is resolved. Lacking a bit of mid palate. Drink now.

April 4, 2016 - Really regretted going through so many bottles earlier. It is finally showing some age and shedded its primary fruit and in fact is showing quite an aged patina since 6 years ago which was when I lasted visited this. This wine has really mellowed out and should be enjoyed now

July 22, 2015 - Pretty good. . .I think it's actually progressed nicely beyond prior bottles opened. However, the cork seemed 3/4 saturated, so I'm hunting for the other bottles in the cellar to try as well.

July 15, 2015 - Still acting very youthful. Nose of black fruit, cacao and leather; generous fruit in the mouth with tack room flavors, tobacco, herbs, mint and licorice. Finishes with drying tannins and suitable acid to hold up to food. Paired well with hearty (and well spiced) beef stew. No reason to think this won't last a good long while in the cellar.
