May 12, 2024 - Bright ruby red with high viscosity for a pinot noir. Bright, jammy red fruits on the nose, with cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas. Hints of roses and fresh baked red fruit pie. The palate is confirmed on the nose, with bright acidity and very mild tannin. Medium-plus alcohol, medium-plus acidity, medium-minus tannin, and a pleasant, lingering finish. This is a very enjoyable wine that will pair well with a wide range of foods, or alone as an aperitif. I paired it with a leafy green salad with strawberry vinaigrette, followed by a filet mignon with au gratin potatoes and candied carrots.
