  This is the first of Patrice's wines I've had. I first sipped it alone, cold - and found it dry, crisp, acidic.
  I then sipped it with dinner: chicken thigh with my favorite Pineapple/Coconut/Mango/Tequila sauce, broccoli and brown rice - lightly acidic, crisp :-)
  
  The second evening, it paired with seared scallops and zoodles - very chilled at first - crisp, tart/lemon; softer and slightly sweeter (lemonade?) as the wine warmed.

  July 12, 2020 - This is a great Loire Valley Chenin Blanc with QPR through the roof. It pours a nearly translucent lemon-maize color with ample sheeting. A somewhat floral nose alongside green melon and a hint of sweet tarragon -- as it warms, there's more white peach. The melon and a hint of lime are sensed early on the tongue, along with a bit of pear. Almost no herbs, but silky chalk minerality in the finish leads to a pleasing sweet peach aftertaste. It could use just a hint more acidity, I think, but the light body works fine and balance is preserved. Almost unctuous in the right way for a steamy summer :-)
