April 6, 2020 - Deep ruby red with red brim. Pleasant, fruity nose with notes of black currants, plums, spices and a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. Mouthfeel has a velvety sensation, is developed, medium bodied, with fine-grained tannins, good acidity and notes of black currants, plums, spices and a touch of coffee and dark chocolate.
This is actually still quite youthful, despite being quite a "cheap" wine and at eleven years!
