September 9, 2020 - Glass: Zalto Universal
Drunk over three days. No detailed notes taken. Nose with classic smoky, dark and deep Morstein notes. Great tension between sweetness and acidity. Lots of extract and density. Makes much fun already but will certainly benefit from a few more years in the cellar. One of my Kabinett surprises in 2019. 90-91++ -

May 28, 2020 - Das erste Mal nach 20 Jahren gibt es einen Kabinett aus dem Morstein. Ein sehr schöner Kabinett, der unfassbar viel Freude bereitet. Feine Citrusnoten gepaart mit reifen Früchten wie Mango und Kumquat. Die hohe Säure spannt die Süße schon in diesem frühen Trinkstadium ein und bringt ihn in eine schöne Balance. Ich bin sehr gespannt wie der Wein sich entwickeln wird.

May 16, 2020 - Very light yellow color. Great nose with citrus and tropical notes. On the palate fine citrus, kumquat and mango paired with a high acidity and a elegant and fine sweetness. Light bodied. A little too young in the moment, it needs some time to settle.

April 26, 2020 - One of the best Kabinetts I had in the last 12 months. Great acidity and great sweetness. Very early, will be incredible once everything melds together.
