November 21, 2022 - From 375. Plum, strawberry, and something earthy on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, plum, and notes of pen ink and mocha, with light tannins and good acidity on the long finish. This is approaching its peak, but may improve for a few more years. This was an excellent value at about $30 for the 375.

July 12, 2021 - On the lighter side, but very elegant, refined Pomerol. Light berries, sweet cedar, and truffles, with a long finish. I like this.

February 11, 2021 - Pleasant nose of griottine, allspice, fur, and truffle with a deeper, slightly chocolatey and very pencil lead palate. Curious to see whether the red fruit profile is unique to the vintage here, as I find the 82 quite dark fruited. A good, characterful effort for a difficult vintage.
