  November 30, 2021 - Had it with Becca coming over on 2nd night of hannukah. Not much bricking. No sediment. Color was dark. Mouthfeel was substantial and full. Nose opened up over an hour+ and continued to evolve. Flavor started acidic but evolved a bit -- thought not showing the sous bois or other tertiary notes I expect in an older wine.
  
  I kind of wish we would have decanted longer or waited a few years to open.

  November 26, 2021 - Bottle breathe for 1 hour. Smooth fruit (cherry), a bit menthol. Highly elegant and integrated. Best drinking now

  August 12, 2021 - decanted for 1.5 hours. layered red fruits, florals, white pepper, black tea, and cured meat. really lovely stuff

  July 7, 2021 - Same btl as rocknroller. Like many 08s drinking more tertiary than you'd expect 13 yrs out. I truly enjoyed this and grabbed a couple extra small pours. Very satisfyingly and loaded with intrigue. No signs of this falling off anytime soon but it offers aromas and flavors more characteristic of 20yr+ aged burgs. My red Burg of the night.   July 7, 2021 - BurgFest at The Kenwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Transparent medium red color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 2.5 hours. Well this was right smack in my wheeelhouse, really elegant and fine. This just had that great perfume of red fruits, leather, roses and dried forest floor. The palate was also open and giveing, tart cherry, dried earth, mineral, a touch of scorched aarth to the silky medium bodied palate. I loved this as it just lingers on and leaves you wanting more. These were a great find. Gorgeous 93+ to 94pts.
