February 9, 2024 - 1 hour decant in glass. Inky purple with dark pink edges in color. Nose of blackberry liqueur & pyrazines. On the palate: blackberries, black cherries, plums, vanillin and black pepper. Astringent, green tannins are perceived prominently on cheeks and gums...somewhat on the tongue. Long, grippy finish of blackberries, vanillin and pyrazines.

November 14, 2021 - excellent QPR. very enjoyable unpredictable nose of clay, stone, black berries herbs and a touch of old world funk. wonderful and round in the mouth and on palate with mouthwatering balanced tannin that never overpowers. more great old world tendencies through the finish.
