December 27, 2022 - This bottle was a touch more grapey and alcoholey (sic) than the last. Still enjoyable and not over the top.

March 6, 2021 - Tasted blind except a) knew it was from the US and b) paired with bison strip steak grilled au poivre.

Medium ruby color. Red and black cherry and menthol on the nose. Medium plus intensity. Medium plus body. Acid in the background. Decent mouthfeel and weight. Finish a medium. Tasted young with some room to grow.

It seemed more like a grenache than a zin in this format. Very enjoyable. Was even better with a 70% chocolate after dinner.
