September 9, 2022 - Wonderful earthy aroma with notes of leather, tobacco and ripe red fruit. Tasting carried those same notes, with a bit of what seemed to me to be a sour cherry that lasts on the palate. It is what it is, a nice, good (not great) chianti that is a respectable value. No one is going to get mad at you for opening this with a nice pasta or pizza.
