Community Tasting Notes 9

January 25, 2024 - This is really good. Light cherry & fresh fruit aroma. There is a depth to the aroma that bodes well for what's to come.

Cherry, oak, and light earthy notes are the highlight. Beautiful light body. I would seek this out again

    December 26, 2023 - In a difficult window?
Medium bodied, some fruit. Not worth the price in my opinion.
    Couldn’t make anything of it.

  • Gargantua Likes this wine:

October 12, 2023 - Nice, made us happy. Sweet sappy dark fruit that feels concentrated but alive with soil overtones that feel distinctly Burgundian. The fruit has strength and amplitude but does not feel New World fat, cola-y offensive to me. The glass residuals are suddenly smoky and blue, and now I wish I had more.

  • Pinot Peter Likes this wine:

March 3, 2023 - Opened tasted and refrigerated for a day. Finished the bottle on the second day. The tannins were dominant over the fruit on the initial tasting. The second day proved the waiting was worthwhile. The wine was open ,softer, more integration/ balance between the raspberry/ dk fruits and the tannin. This had lovely length, good acidity with a beautiful inviting sweetness. V enjoyable wine. All bodes well for even a better wine with more cellaring.

September 9, 2022 - Rose, fennel, sweet cherry fruit and almond on the nose. Elegant palate, perfect acidity and long lasting taste. Village wine at the top of the quality range in my opinion. Lovely wine.
