January 19, 2024 - Medium bodied. After being opened for 30 minutes, this wine showed red fruits, earth, barnyard, saddle leather, herbs, chocolate, and licorice. While it is an entry level Gigondas for St. Damien, it is nonetheless an excellent wine, and at a superb QPR.

January 7, 2024 - Decanted for over 2+ hours. Medium ruby-garnet in colour. Nose of crushed spicy cherries and plums with a touch of lavender and bits of cocoa. On the palate, there are black cherries, black peppers, with bits of dark green herbs; very good concentration; heat is noticed. Medium bodied with a medium-long finished. An excellent qpr for $25.

August 11, 2023 - Nice, complex flavors. Tasting really good right now, and will be for several years to come. Fine tannins that don't detract and well balanced.

April 24, 2023 - PnP Nicely balanced with sour cherry predominaning. Light and refreshing with enough acidity to deal with flavorful food.
