March 17, 2024 - Closed initially. Took two hours to open in the bottle. Notes of blueberries, licorice, tar and violets. Tannins are medium-plus with a drying character on the palate. Acidity is medium/medium-plus. Overall, it’s a great tasting Barbaresco from a down vintage for the region.

May 13, 2023 - Double decanted 3 hours before serving. Beautiful nose. Medium body but plenty of tannins left. Tasty now with steak and gorgonzola sauce.

April 10, 2023 - Beautiful nose, good acidity. Tannins could be a little more resolved. It continued to improve during our meal. Perfect pairing with lamb and steak dishes at chophouse restaurant.

January 30, 2022 - Russk. A WOTN for me at the WW Best of 2021. Cola and forrest floor. Medium bodied. Yes, the Neb tannins are there. But drinking nicely now. I like this producer, including the none designate Barbs.
