August 22, 2012 - This bottle shows some nice fruit, with good acidity, tart fruit, and spice. Together with some heat it is somewhat searing on the palate making it food friendly, not so much fun to drink alone.

August 14, 2011 - Not too dark in the glass, opens up quickly with generous nose, on the palate offers medium body intense red and dark fruits, tart, spice and licorice with balancing acidity. Finished slowly with tart fruits, spice and acid. Excellent.
