November 2, 2023 - Atypical mellow flavor with apple and Jasmine notes per Susan. A good change of pace. Drank at cellar temp for expediency in cool weather.

July 23, 2022 - One hour decant. Very very deep magenta color. Gum ball, blackberry jam, raspberry, and bay leaf on the nose. Smooth, dry, somewhat herbaceous palate. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish.
This is simple, but quaffable. Not bad for the poor vintage, but more green than I like. It’s not completely red fruited, like many ‘17 CS from Napa are, which is good. -
