January 13, 2024 - Have to agree with maximum on smoked game comment. At first I even thought it had a bacon twist on the nose. Deep dark purple with hint of boysenberry.

November 4, 2023 - Very deep and dark. Menthol, smoked game, ultra ripe berries and milk chocolate. Very intense wine.

April 16, 2023 - Nice, quite perfumed pure syrah. I think picked young to produce a more Northern Rhone profile. Plenty of freshness, along with somewhat raw red and black fruits. Medium bodied, grippy tannins. Medium finish, straightforward. Suggest waiting a few years but don't think this ever going to be great.

January 13, 2023 - Nice dark color typical of most Paso syrahs. Light nose smell difficult to discern. Taste seems uniform throughout the palate. Not dry throughout the palate. Deep cherry and blueberry flavors. Texture of the juice was somewhat thick typical of Paso syrahs. Overall, a very nice syrah.
Drank this along side a 2018 Epoch York Mountain Syrah and prefer the Block B much more.

March 21, 2022 - This was nice... however I was hoping for more, especially considering the price and scores. Nice but the mid palate felt a bit hollow. Oak was poking out a bit too.
