March 8, 2024 - somewhat muted floral nose. palate was more green that expected, almost like it had some cab franc in the blend which it does not. surprised for a merlot dominated blend that there wasn't more red and black fruit. almost as if the berries weren't fully ripened. still a nicely made wine

October 15, 2022 - Paso Robles, Calif., red wine blend, 2018 Jada Vineyard Strayts, $67. 78% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petite Verdot. Mid-dark garnet, viscous (15.2 alc.); herbaceous, cocoa, red fruit nose; mid+acids; mid-full tannins; long, tight, semi-chewy red fruit and wood finish; rounding out. 16.5-17 UC Davis scale, 91-92 other scales.
