May 14, 2023 - So far my favourite wine from that region, maybe it’s because of the style though. Dry, full bodied, medium acidity, medium high tannic. Decant for 90 minutes, afterwards tannins become extremely mellow. Nice on the nose already, notes of sweet vanilla and cassis. On the palate VERY smooth, sweet blackberry notes, cassis plum and subtle oaky vanilla notes, which were beautifully integrated. Awesome finish!! The wine doesn’t show much earthy notes just a tiny bit of pepper but all in all, beautifully balanced wine. Drink between 2022 to 2026.

November 15, 2022 - Really nice Rhône blend. Would buy a case again.

August 5, 2021 - One-hour splash decant. Aromas of bright red fruits during decant. No sediment. Internet sources indicate the blend is 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Carignan. Wine was clear and a translucent garnet from bowl to rim with a thin clear halo. In the glass: bright red fruits of cherries and raspberries tempered by fresh tarragon and some toast. In the mouth: the cherries and raspberries continued, fruits were fresh and the acid was bright and crisp. The finish was moderate and ended with a bamboo note. This wine should last for 7 or so more years. I may even have drunk it a bit early, but I wanted the acidity to accompany spicy smoked sausages and sweet and sour red cabbage. The wine did so. I also believe that this wine could handle a light chill if one wanted something more substantial than a rose for a picnic.

April 26, 2021 - Ok. A nice bottle before dinner. Decent fruit and body.

August 21, 2020 - Smells very extracted and clearly has high alcohol; not showing great balance on the palate, starts out ok and then goes thick and heavy and then disjointed acidity and sweetness creeps in. Not for me.
