November 18, 2022 - Quite nice, artful touch of fine minerality, seabreeze, lime, lemon, lovely white floral lift. Nuanced more than intense, the acidity was perfect to me, clean and defined. Moderate weight, length throughout. Enjoyable on its own and with food. Some range in notes, so will be interested to see how next bottle shakes out.

May 28, 2022 - High acidity, high minerality, but quite light for a 1ier cru.

January 11, 2022 - Excellent Chablis, structure with flinty notes and white peach, good clone almost a little sweet on the front palate, delicious.

January 2, 2022 - {Bought on release, first of 12. Diam cork} Has the incisive cut that I like in 1er Cru Chablis, and this wine's major strength is the volume, breadth, and persistence in the mid-palate through finish. Lees-y, sophisticated Kimmeridgian limestone soil derived fruit without any overt oak. Lots of minerals too, but unlike many other excellent Chablis this has the sophisticated mid-palate to match the quality of the minerals. Opened last night, consumed most over the evening, then a glass today at lunch. 80 year old vines from 0.66 hectare plot, allowed a year in old wood with no interventions. Superb. Drinks well at room temperature as well as chilled.

Neal Martin's note on this wine reads like he tried a different wine, or this wine at its most awkward moment.
