Some interesting iron notes on the nose, but rather basic and lean on the red fruited light to medium bodied palate.   September 18, 2022 - The wine is clear, medium intensity and ruby in colour. The nose is clean, medium + intensity with primary aromas of black cherry, black plum, wild raspberry, black pepper, floral wwith dried violets, herbaceous with leafiness and mineral salts. Secondary aromas of oak with vanilla, cream and butter. No tertiary. The wine is developing. The palate is dry, high acidity, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol at 12.7%, medium + body. The flavour intensity is medium plus with all flavours present. The finish is medium +. Quality is very good, can drink now, but has the potential for aging. Its a beautiful Syrah with smucking tannins, this will age for a long time.

  January 29, 2021 - Red fruit and dried herbs. Drinking well now but this will last for another decade.

  January 29, 2021 - scarlet/violet color; searing black pepper, clean red fruit, dried herbs, juicy acidity, long finish. Very much in its infancy. Lots of life ahead for this new/old world stunner
