June 9, 2023 - First glass upon open was bright with Raspberry tartness and some mineral with minimal tannin. This particular bottle did not have an austere open; maybe it's hitting it's stride. Second glass (out of the decanter) balanced itself and brought forward some nice tannins as the brightness mellowed a bit. Enough acid to hold up against an Asian beef noodle dish, but not overly much. Light bodied, medium finish. Overall lovely and one of the better Bourgogne level wines I've had, especially for the value. Going to scoop up a couple more bottles.

December 5, 2022 - Really lovely B.R., precise and taut; not perfectly dialed-in at this stage, but it should easily improve with a short nap. At first was thinking lower score as the acidity is a bit on the awkwardly puckery/tart side and the fruit is a bit shy behind some austere reductive tones, but it improved a lot with air, and I loved the tension of it. Gentle but pure wild red berry fruits, from cranberry to soft raspberry, touches of pepper, something vaguely mineral/saline. Crisp and steely, sometimes harshly so but with some cute ripe red fruit that ultimately helps keep it in balance. The acidity and overall feel are very "true" to burgundy, old world through and through for better or for worse. I honestly think this little burg needs a decant or some aging, it's a bit "raw", and that's not something I note often on CT, especially not for this price point, or grape. Might be overrating it, just really enjoyed each sip.
