Community Tasting Notes 2

February 12, 2013 - Dark blackish purple; clear at rim. Moderately intense nose of dark fruit and graphite. Medium tannins right from entry through the dark finish. Medium body and dark fruity palate of black plum, graphite, menthol. Really softens up nicely with air, but doesn't fall apart. Should satisfy adequately through 2016, but drinking pretty well now.

December 12, 2009 - Blackberry and dark fruits with some oak, earth and lots of pencil lead. Fairly dry. Ann didn't like it at all. I thought it was interesting but it had way to much graphite/pencil lead for me. From Domaine Hudson.
