October 4, 2020 - Still a strong pour. Was rich and chewy and long in the tooth at all. Current, Dark Cherry and no hard edges. Structure was solid and I’m thinking it can even go another year of 2 easy. Well built wine from a classic Napa vineyard.

September 25, 2015 - This was one of the the first real quality wines that I purchased when just getting into wine a bunch of years back (along with the 03 Waypoint To Kalon). Revisiting it with the friends who got me into wine brought back great memories (which I am sure somehow contributes to the high score). This was drinking exceptionally well. Beautiful balance of the remaining acid, tannins and dark fruits. This is what Napa Cabernets are for me. Little lighter than the monster Cabs, but still tastes like heaven.

February 23, 2015 - Wow! This was an unexpected thrill and sad this was my last bottle. This really blossomed into an amazing wine. Tons of layers and complexity. Only a tight nose kept it from a higher score. Dominated by chocolate, iron, charcoal, menthol with a cassis and blackberry core peaking out on the finish. Long finish. Opaque wine with a medium + body but still retaining some vigor from nice acid and some backbone. Really made you think.
