  February 1, 2008 - Plonk. This is pure plonk. Sour light cherry with a strong hint of tar. This is exactly why you can't listen to GV or the WL emails. Worse than I remember from last time. Poured down the drain. 79-81 points.

  June 30, 2007 - just did nothing for me -- nose was too light, especially for a pinot. Seemed flat out of the bottle and 3 hours later there was little improvement . One of those WL emails that was more hype than anything else.

  May 14, 2007 - I wanted to like this wine, given the WL email and my never-ending quest to find a cheap (<$17) everyday Pinot. Open but not decanted for 30 minutes. On the nose there is some promise with notes of carmel, spice, and blackberry. However, on the palate this is sour and tannic. Notes of sour red fruit with harsh tannins. This never opened despite being consumed over the course of almost 2 hours. Another disappointing cheap PN... but I'll keep searching. 84-86 points.

  May 12, 2007 - Black cherry and flower aromas. Also a little vanilla. Cherry, strawberry, and cinnamin flavors. Good acidity with just enough tannin to hold everything together. Tart cherries on the finish. This is a Pinot QPR. 88.
