April 29, 2020 - Bottle: bottom neck fill. perfect cork soaked 1/2 inch up.
Color: garnet with no browning. Slightly cloudy.
Nose: lovely mature zinfandel nose of blackberries, strawberries and violets.
Palate: lively and fresh on the palate with fully resolved tannins. flavors echo the nose. medium bodied and very well balanced. 14.6 abv but drinks like 13.
Overall: a wonderful, elegant old Calif. zin in a style you don't see much anymore.
