February 4, 2023 - Glorious floral perspective, from honeysuckle to white flower, to honey and citrus. Acidic length and breadth throughout the palate. Easily defends against and the integrates with the salinity of dishes across the Llama Inn menu, whether salmon ceviche, bok choy, arroz con mariscos, and lomo saltado. @ Llama Inn

January 25, 2023 - A nice bottle. Not sure it offers more than an Oregon chardonnay but good. Quite a bit of fruit-apple,citrus. Nice full length and body.

July 9, 2022 - Definitely better than the 2018, and will likely to continue to improve each year. The touch of Roulot is evident, yet this is certainly a rounder example of Chardonnay than his Burgundy whites (from my experience). I think we broached the bottle to young and would recommend holding for a few more years if possible.

June 19, 2022 - "Día de los Daddys" (Chicago, IL): Pretty clean, if a little broader and richer than the average white Burgundy (which is of course the easy comparison to make). Slightly reductive -- I waited a fair bit before getting to this because I wanted some of that to dissipate. Definitely more complex and layered than the 2018 Mainque alongside, as to be expected, but I'm not too keen on the overall value proposition here. Good minerality and acidity, with fruit that feels a little fat and sweet. Reading a recent note from half a year ago, I think this is still pretty consistent.

April 19, 2022 - Medium to deep straw colored. Nice floral and fresh nose. On the palate citrus, grass and soft exotic notes are dominant. Beautiful soft creamy oak in the background. Medium bodied with a medium intense but sharp acidity. Very clean and precise structure. Cold climate style - quite elegant. Good depth and a beautiful overall balance. The finish is medium long (+).
I like the freshness it has right now but it can definitely age a little more. But I don’t think it is made for the real long run so drink from now until 2029. (IG)
