  April 30, 2020 - Coming from an extraordinary vintage in terms of weather conditions. The earliest vintage for budbreak, flowering and verasion dates. However, the harvest was not as early as the beginning of the season. But the hang time between start of verasion (July 7) and the harvest (September 25) was the record total 80 days ( Turkey's average for CS around 40 days). So daily maximums which exceeded 32C degrees were only 2 days resulted in extraordinary slow ripening process for Chamlija. The results in the bottle: Awesome CS. All fruit is coming from Sütlüce vineyard. No fining, no filtering. 14 months in French & Hungarian Zemplén Quercus Petraea oak which gives wines silkier tannins.
  
  A deep garnet-purple color and seductive spicy notes of cinnamon , cloves with a core of black cherry, cassis, blackberry and plums. This is a fresh, direct wine that develops some spiciness in the glass. It is perfectly approachable already, although is certainly best drink with food thanks to its beautifully ripe, silky tannins and great freshness . Finishing with very long persistence.
