December 30, 2023 - Dark fruit (blackberries, blueberry jam), charc, herbs, integrated oak (vanilla, dark chocolate)
Cassis, meaty, herbs (bay leaf), minerality, dark chocolate, soft tannins, medium body, balanced very nice medium long aftertaste.
    Binet-Jacquet delivers as usual

June 16, 2023 - Juicy red wine with some funkiness. Acceptable food companion. Did not keep well until day 2.

April 5, 2023 - Dark red and blue in colour. Med intense nose of blackberries, blueberries, violets, liqueur, dark chocolate. Taste is med+ body, low acidity, med- tannins, some tangible bitterness and sweetness and alcohol coming through which kills the freshness a bit. Not really my style.

January 8, 2023 - Rich nose with dark berries (cassis, black berries), herbs, black pepper, dark chocolate
Intensive taste, fruity, medium+ body, cassis, dark cherries, sweet licorice, meaty, peppery, bitter chocolate, metallic, long balanced aftertaste.
Nice and even better than expected!

December 31, 2021 - Cellared for one year.
    Colour dark purple.
On the nose leather, brett (a barnyard!) and perhaps underneath there are some blueberry.
On the palate still brett. If that mars or enhances the experience is up to each to decide.
Blueberry, pepper, rosemary, some cooked beet. Full-bodied and vibrant. A brett-lovers dream.
