April 2, 2024 - On some level I think Ridge is toying with me as I have had some duds and unremarkable wines from them of late. This however bucks that trend and is outstanding. This is deep and perfumed. I get some sort of berry liqueur on the nose that is a joy in itself. Mouthfeel is rich and velvety smooth. Not the Jimsomare I recall from a decade or more ago, better than the 2018 and 2019 I’ve had recently. Absolutely no harm in consuming this now.

October 22, 2022 - This has uncoiled nicely in the past 18 months, with loads of evergreen, high-toned fruit and a long finish. Really in a good place now.
