August 2, 2012 - Quite a lot of complexity for a $10 wine with over a decade of age on it. Would definitely buy again; sour-cherry, licorice, spices, a bit of wood; tannins are quite mellow and integrated at this point, and on the whole this is quite enjoyable. Hard to think of any helpful reference point, except that it sort of reminds me of a Xinomavro from Naoussa, as random as that sounds.
