  October 1, 2022 - 2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal): Bottled in 2022. This wine has 149 grams per liter of sugar and 3.5 acidity. It is straw-colored. On the nose, there are aromas of vanilla wafer, tropical fruit, and maple syrup. Balanced acidity and sugars create a smooth entry, leading to a deep, rich flavor profile with honey, caramel, and delightful spices. Refreshing and smooth, it has a very long finish.

  October 1, 2021 - 2021 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2021-10/2/2021 (Portgugal): Unfiltered cast sample. Dark yellow-orange in color. Intense nose of tropical fruit, bananas, and honey. There are notes of oxidation that I expect from aged Whites Ports. It has a rich mouthfeel that starts with good acidity and a touch of nuts and almond skins. A little bitterness appears on the mid-palate, though not in a distracting way. Very nice long finish.

  September 21, 2019 - 2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal): Cask sample. Not bottled yet. Light butterscotch in color with clearing on the edges. Slightly spirited nose with some citrus and orange blossom. Pronounced orange on the palate with some honey and citrus on the long finish.
