  September 23, 2021 - Medium golden colored. Typical Pinot Noir nose with soft strawberry, raspberry and citrus zest in the nose. On the palate lots of red berries too, fresh citrus and some creamy oak notes. Quite fruit driven style, missing some more mineral notes. Medium bodied with a soft perlage. Acidity is a bit low in my opinion. Medium complexity and depth. Ok balance. Nice medium long to long finish.
  Not one of the best Champagnes I’ve recently tried but interesting. With some more years it will definitely gain complexity and become more interesting. Try from 2025 onwards. (IG)

  August 2, 2020 - Tasted along Marguet's Verzenay 2015. More pronounced colour and Pinot's nose. Little bit more pronounced wood influence. More dense, more creamy texture. Sweet ripe fruits, long, young. Overall Verzenay is more mineral and less fruity than Ruelle. Both definitelly grand cru pedigree, both will benefit of some cellaring.
