    November 1, 2008 - Sangiovese/merlot blend. Peppery

April 15, 2008 - Better than last time, smoothed out a bit, but for $20 you can easily find MUCH better wines in many many varieties. Recently had a Greek Xinomavro/Merlot and a Rosso di Montalcino both for about $15 that were heads and shoulders above this wine.

February 9, 2008 - Has quite a kick, which isn't a good thing. Smell is excellent, taste... not so much. Definitely not worth the $20, to me, anyway.

April 19, 2007 - Popped and poured. This wine is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Sangiovese. In the glass, this wine exhibited a ruby color with aromas of black cherries and plums with hints of cigar smoke and oak. On the palate, black cherries, plums, and tobacco were complemented with hints of earthiness. Nice, lengthy finish and firm structure. A solid value Super Tuscan. HS91
