April 30, 2022 - Pop n pour. Now 1h after opening. Aromas of cherries, oak spice, some herbs, and spice. Palate w nice cherries, some oak spice, herbs, bark and a hint of earth. Finish of oak vanilla, fruit and herbs. Moderately long finish. Medium body. Nice acids. For me, the oak is a bit much but I anticipate that it will be absorbed over time. Young for sure. But still w potential.

October 21, 2021 - Wine Spectator 40th Anniversary; 10/21/2021-10/23/2021 (Marriott Marquis): Nice to see we have some of this since I enjoyed it and we left the list recently. Red fruits, bit of cherry. A touch heavier than I would expect but I think these always seem to show better with some age.

January 22, 2021 - Dark ruby in the glass with noticeable legs. Shy aromas of dark fruits, licorice and cinnamon. Light and smooth on the palette with bright, lively acidity. Tart, dark fruits remain true to the aromas. Finish is absent the mineral flavors one might expect from Dundee Hills, but long and strong with black tea.
