Community Tasting Notes 2

September 19, 2020 - Insane QPR! Nose dominated by the Cab Franc in this Bourdeaux blend.

Nose shows lots of raspberry, red cherry, wet earth, dill and chocolate.

In the mouth this wine overwhelms with big, chalky tannins, high acidity and back-end med+ alcohol. Clearly good now but with years of aging potential.

Flavours are sweeter than the nose. Sweet black plum, black cherry, milk chocolate, leather and some earth. Vanilla and chocolate linger on the finish.

June 24, 2020 - Licorice, red berry and violets on the nose. Bright red cherry flavours and chewy tannins on the pallet. Fresh acid and a nice finish. A great value wine from the bench. pairing with a whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce tonight.
