January 13, 2021 - Lovely juice. Big nose of small red and black fruits, spice, coffee, game.
Super smooth ripe tannins with great mineral acidity. Rich fruit. Intense.

October 3, 2020 - Domaine de Bellene 2018 horizontal Zoom tasting. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fresh mint, pine forest, ripe dark red cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, juicy high acidity, fine grippy medium+ almost high tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe dark red cherries, dark red plum, ripe strawberry, mint, sweet spice, underlying stony minerality and a hint of fresh pine forest floor. Long finish. Gets more gentle and softer with more air.
Very good quality. Will develop well and drink nicely over the next few years.
