November 10, 2008 - Crimson-purple; cassis, prunes, cherry compote; off-dry, pruney, vanilla, jammy, round, medium-full body, soft tannins, decent finish.
Over-ripe with residual sugar masking much of the varietal character. Not even a crowd-pleaser. -

August 13, 2007 - Deep purple color, warm earthy, leathery, mineral nose. Wonderful taste with the "Merlot" finish. I drank with Chicken Marsala which did not do this wine justice. This woud go perfect with a Filet Mignon or New York Strip. Very soft tanins which kept the drink alive.
