May 11, 2021 - Still a bit young and improved over the course of a few hours. Cherry vanilla on the nose. Red fruit, vanilla, tobacco, earth, some spice and some eucalyptus and medicinal traces on the palate. Solid amount acid and tannins ties it all together nicely. This wine is often offered on sale and worth a flyer at ~$40. The $110 list would in my opinion be overpriced but it’s a good wine nonetheless. In any event, I’d give it some air prior to drinking.
